2nd Grade - This class completed logic elimination puzzles from Crystal Pond Woods.

3rd Grade - Today we learned that the Polynesian Islands are a group of islands in the Pacific lying East of Melanesia and Micronesia and extending from the Hawaiian Islands south to New Zealand. The investigator, Roald Dahl had difficulty as a student trying to get his thoughts on paper but later wrote several well known children and adult books. Today's warm up activity had students asking 20 "yes" or "no" questions to determine the identity of the mystery object. Students learned the meaning of their learning style. The affective lesson was an introductory lesson on the Five Characteristics of Successful People. The focus of the Relationship lesson was on the many different kinds of relationships people have and turning those into analogies.

4th Grade - There were two vocabulary words today: Oblivious -someone who is oblivious does not know or is not aware of what's happening and System - a group of things or parts forming a whole. Jane Addams was the first American woman to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her development of the Hull House. Students played 20 questions as they learned the identity of the Mystery Object for the warm up activity. The affective lesson focused on what most students think about during a given day. Those things were related back to the learning styles inventory they had taken a few weeks ago. The Systems lesson focused on languages as students completed a brief research study about the topic.
