2nd Grade - This group started with their vocabulary word of the day Glaciers which are an extended mass of ice formed from snow falling and accumulating over the years and moving very slowly. Their investigator was Andrew Jackson, our seventh President. Mr. Jackson was hit in the chest with one bullet. He never had it removed and spent the rest of his life with a bullet in his chest.

4th Grade - The vocabulary word for this class was motivation which is the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way. There were two investigators for today: Jackie Robinson and Branch Rickey Both men were instrumental in removing segregation from major league baseball. The students completed a Loosen Up drawing for the warm up activity. They took time to make sure they had all of the materials gathered and the directions correctly written so we can send them over to the other school for construction. The afternoon was spent completing lessons in coding through the Hour of Code program.
