2nd Grade - Today students learned Condensation means the process of changing a gas or vapor to a liquid or solid form. The thinker was James Monroe who served his country most of his life but died a poor man. Students began trying to solve the Stories With Holes mystery for the warm up activity.
5th Grade - The vocabulary word for today was Sedulous which means industrious. Their thinker was Samuel Colt who couldn't sell his revolver until the U.S. Army requested large quantities of them. Students worked together to solve the Stories With Holes problem for the warm up activity. For the leadership lesson, students began learning vocabulary regarding leaders. Time was taken to complete the Bridge Across America and we started working on the Explorvision contest assignments.
