2nd Grade - Students completed and shared the stories they started yesterday which was part of the lesson on developing their creativity.
3rd Grade - This class learned that the Judicial Branch is the branch of government charged with the interpretation of laws and the administration of justice; the judiciary. The thinker was Clint Eastwood who was fired from Universal Studios because they said he couldn't act. His determination overcame that obstacle to become a successful actor. Everyone worked together to solve the Stories With Holes problem for the warm up activity. The Convergent Thinking lesson in Crystal Pond Woods had student write their own logic elimination puzzles. In the Relationship lesson, students heard a little bit from the book Call It Courage by Armstrong Sperry and learned some information about the Polynesian Islands.
4th Grade - Our vocabulary word for the day was Gloat which means people who are happy about other people's failure. The thinker was Roberto Clemente who used his influence to help others. For the affective lesson, students reflected on a past successful project and analyzed how that success can help them complete future projects. The final activity was to complete the language system and begin working on the solar system.
