3rd Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Inception which means the start or beginning. Their explorer was Oprah Winfrey, who cared too much about people in the news. Her bosses moved her to a morning talk show and as they say "the rest is history". Students completed a Surprise in the Middle creative drawing for their warm-up activity. In Crystal Pond Woods, students worked with visual analogies. The discovery lesson had students exploring Serendipity and items that were discovered by accident. The relationship lesson began discussing the interdependence of members in a food chain.
