2nd Grade - Their vocabulary word today was Encroach which means to intrude gradually upon the rights of another; to trespass. Students played 20 Questions for the warm-up activity. The affective lesson focused on responsibility. Students drew storyboards to indicate things they could do when they were bored. In Crystal Pond Woods students started studying Divergent Thinking. They brainstormed things they saw in different pictures today.
3rd Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Fervor which means ardor, zeal, earnestness. The ponderer was Harrison Ford who performs real life rescues. Students began developing their Divergent thinking skills in Crystal Pond Woods. For the Relationship study, students selected one of the many Polynesian Islands to research. In the Wonder study, students analyzed a variety of caps and sorted them because that is what a scientist does.
