4th Grade - Potent which means powerful and effective was the word of the day. The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who led peaceful protests to equality for all Americans was today's ponderer. Students solved Plexer puzzles for the warm-up activity. Robot directions from another school were passed out to be built. Then students critiqued the instructions. The final activity was to begin looking at systems in Oklahoma.
3rd Graders - These students were enjoying Valentines Day parties and celebrating the conclusion of their music program. Class will resume next week.
Welcome to Washington Irving's Enrichment blog. This blog was designed to keep parents updated as to the activities of students participating in the program.
