1st Grade - Today's ponderer was Mary Harris Jones who led protests to help the working man. Students completed Plexer puzzles for the warm-up activity. In Crystal Pond Woods, students analyzed items demonstrating that scientists observe and classify things.
5th Grade - Inception which means the start or beginning was today's vocabulary word. The ponderer was Milton Hershey who failed at several businesses before creating a caramel that developed into a successful company. These students quickly solved the Plexer warm-up puzzles. The affective lesson focused on rules we follow in all areas of our lives. They spent the afternoon creating a way to share their ExplorVision project with family and friends who come to visit Thursday evening for Open House.
