5th Grade - Oscitant which means inattentive was today's vocabulary word. Today's ponderer was Guglielmo Marconi, the inventor of the telegraph. Students quickly completed both Stories with Holes problems for the warm-up activity. Their affective lesson focused on appreciating their accomplishments and what they would do in a "sticky" situation. The afternoon was spent researching an aspect of the industrial revolution.
