4th Grade - Loquacious, someone who talks too much, was today's vocabulary work. Rachel Carson, the author who was influential in getting DDT removed from usage, was today's ponderer. Students drew a picture called Surprise in the Middle for the warm up activity. The affective lesson focused on tolerance. The rest of the morning was spent researching for the Wonder of the World project and finishing up the Electric System study.
3rd Grade - Due to a meeting Mrs. Rains had to attend, This group joined the other third grade group Wednesday afternoon.
