5th Grade - Diaphanous, which means translucent or transparent, was today's vocabulary word. Their ponderer was Tom Adams, inventor of chewing gum. They also completed the What in the World puzzle for the warm-up activity. The affective lesson focused on helping students determine what's important to them. Time was then spent researching the Wonder of the World and preparing their products to share with the class.
