2nd Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Culture, which means products of human work at a particular time. There ponderer was Thomas Jefferson who wanted to learn about everything. Mr. Jefferson was the 3rd president of the United States. Students worked to complete a Quotation Quizzler for their warm up activity. They continued the focus of learning that being gifted means different things to different people by telling stories about themselves from their finger's perspective.
3rd Grade - Their vocabulary word was Endorse, which means to give approval or support. Lucille Ball, who had to overcome people's opinions of her acting skills, was today's ponderer. Task Commitment was the focus of today's affective lesson. In the Relationship study, students discussed the power of fear and peer pressure.
