2nd Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Inhabit, which means to live or dwell in. James Madison the smallest of our Presidents, was today's ponderer. Students completed a drawing called "Surprise in the Middle" for their warm up activity. They learned that successful people are committed to completing tasks by setting goals - the focus of the affective lesson. In Crystal Pond Woods, students completed a hands on convergent thinking puzzle.
3rd Grade - Enroll, which means to make or become a member, to sign up for something, was today's vocabulary word. Their ponderer was Cher, who had to overcome many struggles to become a famous singer. These students also completed the Surprise in the Middle drawing. The focus of the third grade affective lesson was Caring. The trip to Crystal Pond Woods had students completing more logic elimination puzzles.
